THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ON ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE

The study aims to: (1) analyze the changes in organizational culture due to digital transformation, (2) identify cultural traits that support successful digital transformation, and (3) assess the challenges organizations face in aligning culture with digital initiatives. A survey design was selected for its effectiveness in capturing the perceptions and experiences of employees. The sample size, derived using Taro Yamane's formula, included 376 respondents from technology firms in Port Harcourt. The technology sector was chosen due to its rapid digital evolution. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.88. Results show that digital transformation fosters a more innovative, collaborative, and flexible organizational culture, though resistance to change remains a significant challenge. Recommendations include fostering a culture of continuous learning, promoting open communication, and involving employees in the digital transformation process to enhance cultural alignment.
